China Health Food Regulation Introduction

The regulatory framework for health foods / supplements in China has evolved over a period of many years. In this webinar, Tracy Li of CNHFA provides an introduction to the essential elements of health food regulation, highlighting the approaches to market access, covering the registration and filing systems, and the timelines for the evolution of the permitted lists of functional ingredients and additives.

Executive Vice President, China Nutrition and Health Food Association (CNHFA)

Li Liangqiu(Tracy Li), was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Graduated from Zhejiang University with a Bachelor of International economic law and Renmin University of China with a Master of Pharmaceutical policy and law. Participated in Drug Registration Regulation Training Program of Yale University in 2010.

Used to be the supervisor of Beijing Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the division head of China Center for Food and Drug International Exchange of former China Food and Drug Administration. Engaged in international exchanges of food and drug policies, regulations, and industrial cooperation for long time. Served as Deputy Secretary-General of China Nutrition and Health Food Association from 2016 to 2019. Has served as Executive Vice President of China Nutrition and Health Food Association from 2020 till now.
